The sex/human trafficking industry in metro Atlanta has grown to nearly $300M annually.The Table on Delk sees over 1800 individuals each year on Delk Road, many of which are victims of sexual exploitation.These women, men and children are being forced or trapped into a lifestyle where their lives don’t matter.The impact on their lives and the lives of their families has generational implications.The volunteers at The Table on Delk want to help end sexual exploitation in Atlanta.The Table on Delk provides a safe place for those who are currently, or at risk of, being sexually exploited to have a meal and get connected to resources that they might not know about. Volunteers are needed to prepare food and to show our guests the Father’s love. By showing them His love through genuine interactions, telling them that their lives do matter and that He has a plan and purpose for them, some of those we serve will take steps toward healing and restoration.The goal is to bring about transformation one life at a time. By showing God’s love in action, we believe that The Table on Delk will be an on ramp to other ministries seeking to rescue and restore these victims. If we can facilitate a rescue of just one person and see that person come to live the life God intended for them, we know there will be a future generation transformed. We believe that The Table on Delk can play a role in ending sexual exploitation in Atlanta.

Whether you’re new to groups, leading for the first time, or a seasoned leader, there’s a place for you!As we prepare for our church launch, we need sacrificial leaders to lead the harvest of God’s people into a closer relationship with Christ. My strength fails. All the time. Everyday. Each evening I go to bed thinking, “Tomorrow will be better. New mercies and all of that, right?”Yes. New mercy is there every morning before my feet even hit the ground. Yet again I fail. I yell at my kids; I think bad thoughts; I worry about finances. If I am being honest, even now, as I am writing this post, my strength is failing because I’m worried about how I will be perceived. I am weak. And my strength fails because it is imperfect.
