Acts 1:1-5
In the first book, Theophilus, I wrote about all that Jesus began to do and teach 2 until the day when He was taken up to heaven, after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit to the apostles whom He had chosen. 3 After his suffering, He presented himself alive to them by many convincing proofs, appearing to them during forty days and speaking about the kingdom of God. 4 While staying with them, He ordered them not to leave Jerusalem but to wait there for the promise of the Father. “This,” He said, “is what you have heard from me; 5 for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”

“The Spirit changes people.”

The Jesus Revolution is well documented.

“The Bible is accurate archaeologically, geographically, historically, systematically, scientifically, prophetically, and it is miraculous in that it is life-changing. It was written over a span of 1,500 years by more than 40 authors, spanning three continents, and yet is perfect in accuracy. Try to apply this test to other religious books!”

“The evidence for our New Testament writings is ever so much greater than the evidence for many writings of classical authors, the authenticity of which no one dreams of questioning. And if the New Testament were a collection of secular writings, their authenticity would generally be regarded as beyond all doubt. It is a curious fact that historians have often been much readier to trust the New Testament than have many theologians.”
Luke 1:1-4 (NLT)
Many people have set out to write accounts about the events that have been fulfilled among us. They used the eyewitness reports circulating among us from the early disciples. Having carefully investigated everything from the beginning, I also have decided to write an accurate account for you, most honorable Theophilus, so you can be certain of the truth of everything you were taught.
Luke 24:45-47
Then He opened their minds to understand the scriptures, and He said to them, “Thus it is written, that the Messiah is to suffer and to rise from the dead on the third day and that repentance and forgiveness of sins is to be proclaimed in His name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.

If you pray for understanding, God will give it.

The church exists for those far from God.

Isaiah 32:15
Until at last the Spirit is poured out on us from heaven. Then the wilderness will become a fertile field, and the fertile field will yield bountiful crops.

Joel 2:28-32
“Then, after doing all those things, I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams, and your young men will see visions. In those days I will pour out my Spirit even on servants—men and women alike. And I will cause wonders in the heavens and on the earth—blood and fire and columns of smoke. The sun will become dark, and the moon will turn blood red before that great and terrible day of the Lord arrives. But everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved, for some on Mount Zion in Jerusalem will escape, just as the Lord has said. These will be among the survivors whom the Lord has called.

The deluge of the Spirit is a promise for everyone who believes!

Ask God to fill or refill you with the Spirit today.
