Hey Hey Good People, Holy Week begins this Sunday. It is a time of reflection and joy. It is an opportunity to remember the cost and joy of our freedom. This is also the time of year with the lowest cultural hurdles to invite someone we love to hear the Good News of Jesus. I encourage you to continue to pray for the Spirit to open doors for you. We’ve got a lot this week, so I’m gonna be short with my intro. – Love Yall. Pastor Doug.

If it does not feel authentic to your actual situation, please feel free to change it to reflect you better. The Goal For This Week: This week’s post introduces Jesus and His people into the conversation. The hope is to start a conversation about why you are a Christian? Why do you love and trust Jesus and His people? Everyone is looking for somewhere to take the weight of life and a people to belong to. Free99Fridge
Hey Church! For the Spring 2022 Small Group Semester we have partnered with Free99Fridge to help fill up community refrigerators around the city. Free99Fridge is an Atlanta-based grassroots organization committed to fighting for food justice & addressing the needs of our neighbors through mutual aid. They provide high quality produce and non-perishable food at no cost to anyone who wants or needs it via the community fridge network. Their community fridges are stocked and maintained by volunteers, growers, and local businesses who see value in supporting the community. This is a community-run, community-backed effort. A crew of volunteers make this project what it is. They are a solution-oriented collective aiming to build up community and end food disparities in Atlanta one fridge at a time.If you would like to support our Small Group Leaders and Members please consider donating the following items listed below:• shelf stable food items (snacks, ready-to-make meals, canned food, cereal, rice, etc)• bottled or can drinks (Gatorade, sodas, water)• hygiene items (tampons, pads, hand sanitizer, soap)• paper items (toilet paper, tissues, paper towels)• plastic Tupperware / to go containers to hold meals• clothingWe will start collecting items this Sunday April 3rd, 2022 before and after service.
