ABOUT US
Before serving with East Mountain through Faith and Learning, Caleb and Marisa went to Wheaton College in Illinois then lived in Atlanta where Caleb taught third grade and Marisa worked for a communications agency. They have been involved in several international ministries including the international students ministry at Renovation. Caleb grew up in Dakar, Senegal and Marisa grew up in Tokyo, Japan. Caleb and Marisa are so excited to be serving in South Africa mentoring with and helping lead a Christian formation and leadership development program.They work to provide logistical support, listening ears, and a peaceful, loving and structured environment for the residents and interns at East Mountain and help with other educational children’s ministries. Caleb and Marisa have a daughter named Zoey who was born in 2021 in South Africa.
Pray for Us
Please pray for our visa renewal to come through that we applied for in February and for strength and wisdom as we complete theology classes and a missionary equipping program. We pray to be a blessing to all those we cross paths with. We pray for our part in God’s work in South Africa, that His Kingdom would come. We also pray for our partners and ministries in South Africa that God would be at work turning hearts around and drawing people to him in all of those spaces.
